Mongolia Travel Advice Information – 2021.Feb.16

The State Emergency Commission has decided on 16 February, 2021 to take the following measures:

1. Passengers are not allowed to enter until 31 March 2021.
This does not apply to:
-nationals and permanent residents of Mongolia,
-passengers with a short-term visa (business (B type), diplomatic (D-type), or official (A-type) visa) issued on or after 8 October 2020.

2. All passengers must present a negative Covid-19 PCR test which is taken within 72 hours before arrival.

3. Passengers, who have received full dose of Covid-19 vaccines, only upon presenting proof of vaccination, will be exempted from quarantine and shall observe 7-day-self isolation.

4. Passengers, except those who have received full dose of Covid-19 vaccines, are subject to mandatory 10-day-quarantine at dedicated facilities, followed by 4-day-self isolation. During the quarantine period, PCR tests will be conducted on the 2nd and the 8th day.
