As per the statement from Ministry of Education on May.05, We have conducted survey about re-opening of schools with parents, guardians, teachers and school administrators, 72 percent of teachers and 70 percent of parents supported the proposal to extend the holiday and start classes in the early fall. We also consulted with professional organizations and officials. As of now, it has been finalized that classes will start on August 15 in the fall this year.
And preschool and students in grades 1-3 will have a break on May 7, 2021, while students in grades 4-12 will have a break on Friday, May 14, 2021. Students who wish to enroll in a VTPC after the ninth grade can continue to study the online course content and telecast. Grade 12 students will be required to take a rehearsal from the 14th, State Emergency Commission will ultimately decide further whether the rehearsal will be in-class or remote. Teachers’ vacation has been scheduled to begin on June 1.
