Mongolian Scientists have developed the test method to diagnose the development of new type of coronavirus infected in the humans. The Test method called as “ELISA” which is able to detect the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection in the human blood and plasma. Further it will be help to study about the spread and monitor the immune system. After 8 months of research, the test method became successful.
Speaking about ELISA, Ts.Oyunsuren, a leading researcher at Institue of Biology of Mongolian Academy of Sciences said that this test foresee whether people recovered from Covid infection after developing antibodies. In the second stage, it will determine the immune population. This test is sensitive and unique method. Initially we have received 16 million MNT for the diagnosis methods. Later Ministry of Education, Science & Culture provided us with 180 million MNT and we are working to ensure the tester can be used in Mongolia.
Minister of Education & Science Mr.G.Tsedevsure, State Secretary of Ministry of Health and President of Mongolian Academy of Science Mr.D.Redgel met the team of scientist who developed the test method in August and expressed their support and congratulated them.
