On Jan 20, 2021, 16 new cases of Coronavirus were detected in Mongolia after testing 12,940 people using PCR method at NCCD and National Center for Public Health located at Selenge, Darkhan-Uul and Dornod Aimags.

Among those 16 new cases, 15 were from Ulaanbaatar and 1 imported.
